Bob’s Beach Books is a family owned, independent bookstore on the Oregon coast.   

We carry new (new releases are in stock the day they’re out) and used books, plenty of great beach reading including romance, hiking guides, children’s books, mysteries, fiction, manga, fantasy, horror, graphic novels, cookbooks, and much more.  We’re happy to take special orders and pre-orders for new copies of books and can usually offer a discount on these. 

We’re proud to carry Pride flags designed by artist Rae Senarighi AKA Transpainter.  We also carry puzzles, booklights, guest books, tote bags, cards, bookends, stickers, magnets, games, and other gifts and rainy day activities–there’s always something new in at Bob’s.

We buy and trade used books until a half hour before closing.  If you’re making a special trip we always recommend calling ahead that day to confirm (for example, if we’re dealing with a large quantity already we may not have time to look at more books that day).

We’ve moved next door, as of January 7th, 2018!  After nearly 19 years in our old location we moved to the brick, white, and blue building with a mermaid on the north and south sides of the building, on the ocean-side of Hwy 101 in the Oceanlake area of Lincoln City, Oregon.  Why the move?  The new building doesn’t have stairs so we’re more accessible.  Feel free to call us at 541-994-4467 for directions.

We sell gift certificates in any amount; if you can’t make it in we can mail the gift certificate for you, or have it available at the store for them to use when they come in.
